Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0849828A2] The electrical connector has a housing (1) for reception of the flat foil conductor (12), containing a number of contacts (2), contacted by respective conductor paths (13) of the flat foil conductor at their free ends (4). The housing has an opening (11) for a pressure block (17) used for pressing the conductor paths against the free ends of the contacts in a direction at right angles to the conductor paths, with a spring section between the fixed and free ends of each contact for biasing it in the direction of the flat foil conductor.
