Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0849837A2] The seal (2) is provided by a flat rectangular plate with 2 opposing flat sides (1,8) and at least one insertion opening (3,4) for a rectangular pin contact. Each of the insertion openings widens outwards from the centre in the direction of each flat side of the seal. The insertion openings each have a rectangular contour with enlarged corner regions (9), with the inclination angle of the inwards taper being greater along the sides of the rectangle than at the corner regions.
