[origin: WO9709899A1] The attachment (1) can be fitted on a hand-held blower device, especially a hair drier. An air outlet component (2) has a flat front section (3) over which the air outlets (4) are distributed. A support (7) has a flat front section (9) on which rod-like hair engagement components (5) are supported and project therefrom parallel to a longitudinal axis of the attachment (1). The front section (3) of the air outlet component (2) has through apertures (10) for the hair engagement components (5) and each hair engagement component (5) passes through a through aperture (10) of the front section (3) of the air outlet component (2) with some clearance. The front sections (3, 9) of the air outlet component (2) and the support (7) can be moved relatively to one another along the longitudinal axis by the user. To this end there is a mechanism with two operating parts, one of which can be moved only together with the air outlet component (2) and the other only together with the support (7) along the longitudinal axis (A), while one can only rotate and the other be moved only along the longitudinal axis (A).
