Abstract (en)
The working head is fitted rigidly but releasably to the housing (10) end furthest from the connector (54) so the impact face for the striker piston (24) is axi-normal to the piston chamber (22). The head is preferably screwed to a housing thread extension (16) and separated from head by a divider ring. The head drill-bit has hardmetal inserts in the control face which is angled relative the axi-normal endface of the bit so as to intersect this endface. A control tube (28) in a first rearward hole (26) in the piston is rigidly joined to the housing (18) and thus coaxial to this within the piston chamber at radial distance from the chamber inside wall (30).

Bei einem Imlochhammer, umfassend ein im wesentlichen zylindrisches Gehäuse (10, 18), einen in einer Kolbenkammer (22) des Gehäuses (10, 18) hin- und herbewegbaren druckmittelbetätigten Schlagkolben (24), einen austauschbar angeordneten Arbeitskopf, auf den die Schlagenergie des Schlagkolbens (24) übertragbar ist, und ein mit dem Gehäuse (10, 18) drehfest verbundenes Anschlußstück (54) zur drehfesten Verbindung des Imlochhammers mit einem Bohrgestänge (108) und zum Anschluß einer Druckmittelleitung, ist der Arbeitskopf an dem dem Anschlußstück (54) fernen vorderen Ende (16) des Gehäuses (10, 18) lösbar, aber starr befestigt, wobei die Aufprallfläche (87) für den Schlagkolben (24) eine im wesentlichen achsnormale Stirnwand der Kolbenkammer (22) ist. <IMAGE>
