Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0852118A2] The hand protector for ice and roller skaters and skate boarders has an acoustic warning device and a reinforced section in the form of a plastic bracket (4) to protect the palm and wrist sections. The plastic part (4) contains an air duct (10) as part of the acoustic alarm system. The duct (10) connects a hollow rubber ball (5) at one end of the plastic part (4) to a recess at the other end. The recess encases a preferably replaceable tube (6) with at least one whistle (7).
