Abstract (en)
The method concerns continuous strip casting with use of an oscillating or accompanying mould (5). In particular, it concerns production of encased material by casting of a metal melt between a metal casing (4) which continuously accompanies the melt at the casting speed. The solidus temperature of the metal casing is always lower than or equal to the solidus temperature of the melt. The casing material (4) moves at least along one mould surface.

Das Verfahren und die dazugehörigen Vorrichtungen dienen der Erzeugung von umhüllten Stranggießprodukten. Hierbei kann sowohl eine oszillierende als auch eine mitlaufende Kokille zum Einsatz gelangen. In diesem Verfahren wird beispielsweise ein rostfreies Warmband, das als Umhüllung dient, kontinuierlich zwischen die Kokillenwand und beispielsweise eine Kohlenstoff-Schmelze eingeführt, um mit der Strangschale zu verschweißen. Dieses Verfahren kann z.B. vorteilhaft bei der 2-Rollen-Gießanlage, der Hazelett-Anlage oder auf der Gießradanlage zur Anwendung kommen. Vorteil der Erfindung ist die kostengünstige Herstellung vor allem von Flachprodukten der Abmessung > 800 mm x < 10 mm, auch als Verbundmaterial. <IMAGE>
