Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0852210A2] The dispenser consists of a container (1) holding the liquid (L), a spray head (5) and a plunger tube (7) connecting the intake of the head to the liquid. The plunger is equipped with at least one porous element (10) with open pores for the liquid to pass through, while the plunger tube itself is impervious to the liquid. In one variant of the design the plunger tube can be made from a porous polypropylene cylinder coated with a layer of varnish to make it impermeable to the liquid for almost its whole length, except for a tip forming a porous intake. In another the plunger can be a hollow polyethylene tube with a porous insert or end cover.
