Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0852213A2] The handling device is for stacks (10) of cutouts of thin cardboard on pallets (12). The stacks with bands (11) round them are set out in stacking rows on the pallet and stacked one above the other in several stacks (16). The stacking is done by a receiver head (18) which can be moved in the vertical and horizontal directions on a gantry-shaped carrier rack (19). The receiver head grips a whole group of cutout stacks simultaneously and sets the group down on a conveyor (14).
