Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH10175777A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a normal automatic exchange operation with a twill winding package and a free pipe by giving a control instruction to a yarn rewinding part computer for controlling a yarn tensioner of the yarn rewinding part in which the positioning is performed for a service unit by the control computer of the service unit. SOLUTION: A service unit is placed in a yarn rewinding part 2 and yarn 30 is accepted by what is called a yarn lifter at first. Thus, this yarn can be prepared and held for a succeeding exchange operation. Further, the control computer 38 of the service unit takes charge of the guide of a yarn rewinding part computer 39 of a yarn rewinding part 2 via a mechanical bus 40 during an exchange operation. Namely, also the control of a yarn tensioner 13 is performed via the control computer 38 of the service unit. A yarn tension value which is maintained by the yarn tensioner 14 during the exchange operation is related to a selected constitution of a package handling means or a twill package 11 every time.
