Abstract (en)
The invention relates to the decolouring of cracked distillate, by contacting the distillate with nitric acid, washing the cracked distillate fraction, during which the nitric acid is removed, and subsequently evaporating and condensing the cracked distillate fraction. The invention also relates to a resin obtainable from a cracked distillate decoloured according to the process of the invention.
