This floor is made up of an assembly of elementary floors (4A, 4B, 4C) of smaller size each having a substantially rectangular shape, said elementary floors being juxtaposed such that the furnace floor constitutes one single piece and has a surface section of which the perimeter is defined by more than four sides.
