Abstract (en)

The computer controlled metering and costing of an electricity supply has a counter based meter Ä1Ü that has a transducer Ä2Ü, a power switch Ä7Ü, a control unit Ä5Ü, a data interface Ä4Ü and a display Ä3Ü. The interface is of the form of a bidirectional transmitter/receiver. The meter is remotely linked to the main computer of the electricity generating company. When a load is connected the main system executes a credit check and if positive the main switch is activated. Power consumption data is continuously relayed back to the computer for customer charging. The system may be adapted for gas or water supplies.

Zur vereinfachten Bedienung bei geringen Kosten und hoher Manipulationssicherheit eines Systems zur gesteuerten Abgabe von elektrischer Energie, Gas, Wasser oder ähnlichen Medien, mit einer Vielzahl von Abgabegeräten für die genannten Medien, jeweils umfassend ein Meßwerk, eine Eingabeeinrichtung, einen Leistungsschalter zur Steuerung der Energie-/Medienabgabe, und ein Steuerteil zur Steuerung des Leistungsschalters gemäß der an der Eingabeeinrichtung eingegebenen Daten wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Eingabeeinrichtung (4) als Schnittstelle (4') zur Übertragung von Steuerdaten an einen Zentralrechner (20) ausgebildet ist, der jeweils mehreren Abgabegeräten (1) zugeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
