[origin: WO9713293A1] A device including a housing with an opening for inserting an end portion of each sheathed wire, a blade for receiving said end portions in the housing, and a clip (12) designed to be inserted transversely into the housing relative to the sheaths, and provided with at least two slots (13) for gripping the wire sheaths and drawing them to the back of the housing so that the clip and the blade together strip the wires. Spacing means (52, 53) are also provided between the blade and the gripping and drawing clip (12) for maintaining a spacing therebetween that is greater than a cutting threshold.
