[origin: EP0853171A2] The holder (10) has a longitudinal support (14) which can be mounted parallel to the eaves on the roof understructure (50). Beneath the longitudinal support there is an area with a bearing surface (18) which is curved convex in the transverse direction. This surface extends longitudinally so that the support can be fitted on the understructure and a straight line (49) running through one of the points (46) at right angles to the centre axis (48) always occupies the same angle with the vertical independently of the incline of the understructure. The height of the longitudinal support corresponds to the height of an eaves board. The longitudinal support has on its top side an area with a longitudinally extending support face (26) curved convex in the cross direction.
