[origin: EP0853936A2] The telescopic hoist (20) behind the back rest (18) is joined at the top to the back rest, and at the bottom to the base frame (12). The back rest is swivel mounted on a transverse axle (34) of the seat (14) The top end of the hoist is swivel mounted on a transverse axle (22) onto the back rest. The bottom end of the hoist is swivel mounted on the base frame. the back rest can be tilted from a steep backwards position into a flat position. The hoist has an extra hoist causing the back rest to move backwards towards its flat position when the seat has reached its bottom stop.
