[origin: EP0853964A1] The skate has a chassis (1) that supports four wheels (2,3,4,5). A brake, formed by a rotating cylindrical body (18), moves radially on its axis (17) to come into contact with the two back wheels (4,5) when the leg is flexed backwards. The body is mounted on a lever (11) that is articulated on the chassis, in front of the back wheels. It extends backwards horizontally and a rod (19) is articulated on its upper end. A collar of the boot (9) projects backwards (23) and rests on the top of the rod. The body rests against a curved plate (15) on the lever.
