Abstract (en)
The method uses a mixing vessel (7) for the ink (2) which is introduced through a tube (9) passing to a measuring chamber (8) via valve (10). Within the chamber is a temperature sensor (12) and an ultra sonic generator /sensor (13). The composition of the ink is based upon the sound velocity transmission measured by the ultra sonic device. A vent valve (14) controlled by a microprocessor or computer regulates the transfer of ink into the vessel

Bei dem Verfahren zum Regeln der Viskosität von in einer Druckmaschine umlaufender Farbe wird die Zusammensetzung der Farbe mit Hilfe der Laufzeit von Ultraschallpulsen in der Druckfarbe bestimmt. Für Temperaturänderungen und Änderungen wegen längeren Kreislaufs der Farbe werden Korrekturen angebracht. Zusätzlich kann eine direkte Messung der Viskosität stattfinden. <IMAGE>
