Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0854072A1] The method involves using travel and or track-specific signals as control impulses to initiate lubrication. The digital or analogue signals may be time, distance or curve-dependant and or track programming dependant, and may be received by contacts, transmitters, sensors, selectively individually, together, or in any combination. The signals are evaluated in a computer for a freely programable control system, and lubrication is initiated dependant upon track, time or quantity-dependant lubrication requirements, which are variably adjustable. Direction and speed of travel are also taken into consideration for lubrication start-up.
