Abstract (en)
The opto-electronic checker includes several checking elements especially in the form of cameras (48,49). The cigarette packets (10), near the horizontal test-section (30), are conveyed and exposed while travelling to the checker. The conveyor consists of conveyor belts (31,32) the stringers (33,34) of which touch facing, sideways pointing surfaces of the packet on the base (8) and end surface (19). Defective packets are detached from the flow of packets by an ejector (51) which consists of an ejector head (54) movable by a cylinder (53). The packets are supported by pressure rollers on both sides of the track.

(Zigaretten-)Packungen (10) werden im Anschluß an eine Bearbeitungs- bzw. Behandlungsvorrichtung, insbesondere im Anschluß an einen Trockenrevolver (11), entlang einer horizontalen Förderstrecke transportiert. Diese weist eine Prüfstrecke (30) auf. In deren Bereich werden die Packungen (10) durch Kameras (48, 49) hinsichtlich korrekter Ausbildung überprüft. Im Bereich der Prüfstrecke (30) werden die Packungen (10) so transportiert bzw. durch Zwischengurte (31, 32) gehalten, daß die Kameras (48, 49) jeweils einen Teilbereich der Packungen (10) optimal erfassen können. <IMAGE>
