[origin: EP0854247A2] The wall slab element making process involves pouring concrete (7) into a mould box (1) open at the top, so that the top surface (8) of the concrete layer (9) is below the top edge (5) of the box to a certain extent (u). A layer (10) of a dry mixture of fine aggregate and binder is placed on the concrete layer, projecting above the top edge of the box to a certain extent. The dry mixture is compacted down to the top edge of the mould, dampening it through so that it bonds into a hard surface layer.
