Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0854338A1] The dryer has a number of e.g. roller-conveyors equal to its number of tiers. Encased nozzles (14a,14b) extend the width of the conveyors and have an inlet at one end, and a closed other end (18). Drying air is blown through the nozzle openings at least on one side of the material conveyed through. The encased nozzles are vertically movable at one end and are fixed in a slanting position in which the distance between the nozzle holes (16) and the conveyor plane on one side of the dryer is greater than on the other side.
