Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0854402A1] The stand, designed to allow it to be placed on a horizontal piece of furniture instead of hanging on a wall, is made in one piece, e.g. from thin plastic, and has a central U-shaped section (2) with parallel side branches which can be slid between the clock movement casing (30) and back. The central section is connected by thin hinges (16,17) to symmetrical L-shaped side-pieces (3,4) which form the feet (14,15) of the stand and are joined together by a transverse strip (5) which is attached by a hinge (20) to one side piece and engages by means of a tongue (22) and slot with the other.
