Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9806579A1] The invention concerns a typesetting device and letters (1) for printing, for instance, as they are used for instructional purposes. To avoid the risk of endangering the health of users, stabile and inexpensive letters are constructed out of plastic. The typesetting device can be easily handled, due to the fact that the letters are secured in slots (6) of the chase (6) by means of a retaining frame (7) or retaining plates (9).
