Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0855152A2] The support frame for the safety belt clasp has a base plate (20) and a cover plate (22) to hold the clasp. The two plates are joined at one end, while the other end has the mounting tag (26) formed by the extension of one of the plates. The whole fitting is made from a one piece metal pressing. The mounting plate and cover plate are joined together by bent over tags or by rivets e.t.c. fitted at the tag end. The tag has a fitting hole (28) for securing the fitting to the vehicle and is angled to hold the fitting in the selected position.
