[origin: EP0855158A1] The arrangement has several preferably square-sectioned, hollow, vertical supports arranged at pre-set distances apart with their front sides on the same plane. The supports stand on a floor (12) and are fixed to a wall (14) and or ceiling. The front of the supports has hook-openings longitudinally arranged in a grid and into which hook the hook-elements of wall-elements or wall-cladding elements (40,41). Two adjacent supports are joined at least by a top and bottom horizontal transverse support suspended from other hook-openings. The width of the wall or wall-cladding elements matches the distance between the facing side flanks of the hook-openings of two supports. A vertical gap giving access to the hook-openings on the front of the supports is positioned between two horizontally adjacent wall or cladding elements.
