[origin: EP0855250A1] The device is for chuck appliance heads with chuck arm mechanism, linear setting member, and transmitter for two pneumatic switches (1,2). The switches are positioned on a carrier bar (6), which also contains the pneumatic channels. The switch (2) for open position indication has a base (2') and is adjustable relative to the first switch. Both switches are connected as valves to the permanent pressure channel (4), and separately to the associated control pressure channels (5,3). The switch base has overflow channels (7,8) open to the carrier bar, and the pneumatic channels have overflow bores (9,10) into the overflow channels.
