Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0855268A1] The sleeve (3) is fitted to the drive shaft (1) over a deformable liner (2). The shaft has a series of depressions (7) between supporting surfaces (12). The depressions cover the whole circumference of the shaft, and the supporting surfaces in the form of narrow projecting bands between them. Each of the shaft depressions is in communication with at least one lengthwise channel (11) in the shaft. The liner is pierced at one end (18), where it is connected to an axial channel (13) in the shaft by a radial duct (15). In addition, there are three annular seals (21,21') between the liner and shaft. The seals are located in grooves in the shaft, two on either side of the radial duct and the third at the opposite end of the liner.
