[origin: JPH10203285A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas bag module for vehicle passenger constrain device, which is constructed by a small number of components and quickly attached. SOLUTION: A gas bag module includes a practically pipe-like gas generator 3, a gutter-like attaching housing 5 for surrounding the gas generator 3 and joining it to a vehicle and a gas bag. A long and thin slot 7 is partitioned by walls 9 and 11 opposite the attaching housing 5. The walls are bent in a U shape so as to form a portion having double layers 13 and 15. Each layer 15 of the walls 9 and 11 has a last end edge 17, and is extended toward the gas generator 3 to contact the same.
