Abstract (en)
The cleaner (10) has suction device (19) which removes the wet dirt particles from the space (18) around the rotating cylindrical brush (12). In line with the direction of travel (21) and close before and after the brush, the cleaner has pref. comb-like devices (22,23) which are shaped to fit into the grooves (14.1) between the ridges of the surface to be cleaned. The comb-like devices work with the brush housing (11) to seal the space around the brush and prevent the escape of dirt particles and water from the cleaner. The suction device is close to the brush within a sealed housing so that dirt and free water is promptly removed.

Eine Vorrichtung zum Reinigen von rillenprofilierten Flächen wie Stegrolltreppen oder -laufstege, bei der eine Absaugeinrichtung (19) die Schmutzpartikel aus einem Rotationsraum (18) einer Walzenbürste (12) absaugt und in Bewegungsrichtung (21) der Rolltreppe oder des Laufsteges vor und hinter der Walzenbürste (12) jeweils kammartige Einrichtungen (22, 23) angeordnet sind, die in die Zwischenräume (14.1) zwischen den Stegen der Rolltreppe oder des Rollbandes eingreifen und gemeinsam mit dem Gehäuse (11) der Vorrichtung (10) den Rotationsraum (18) der Walzenbürste (12) nach außen hin weitgehend abdichten. <IMAGE>
