[origin: EP0855370A1] The drive unit for a droplet distributer of a glass machine comprises a servomotor (3) producing the mechanical drive force necessary for the motion of the droplet distributer, a toothed belt transmission (8) with a toothed belt (9), and droplet distributer sleeves (11) fixed to the droplet distributer without freedom of rotation. The droplet distributer sleeves are produced as compound sleeves and are provided with disks (10) meshing with the toothed belt (9).
