[origin: EP0855502A2] In the direct vicinity of the cylinders in each suction channel (21) an exhaust gas feed-back aperture (7) is provided, which is connected to a distribution device (5) fed from the exhaust gas feed-back conduit (8). The distribution device has a positioning component (6), which is so formed that it controls the throughflow cross-section for the exhaust gas through the feed-back aperture (7). The distribution device is formed as a tube, which extends parallel to the longitudinal axis of the engine. In it is provided a slider movable in a longitudinal direction, which controls the exhaust gas feed-back apertures. The positioning component (6) has an auxiliary hole, which defines a predetermined small aperture cross-section for the exhaust gas feed-back.
