Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0855569A1] The lock (1) has a housing (2) containing a striker (3), a tensioner (4), a trigger (5) and a safety catch (6). The striker comprises at least one movable striker piece (310,320) activatable by a spring (311,321). The tensioner is a tension bar (402) which engages on the striker piece and can move against the force of a set-back spring (401) in the tension direction of the striker spring. The trigger locks the striker piece with the striker spring tensioned in a tension position and, via a trigger lever (511,521), can be brought into a position releasing the striker piece. The safety catch incorporates a slider and lever mechanism for blocking the trigger or striker. The trigger bar comprises an elbow lever (510) connected at one end to the lock housing and at the other end to the striker piece. The lever, by actuating the tension bar whilst simultaneously tensioning the spring, can reach from an offset trigger position in dead centre or top dead centre course defined by the tension position of the striker piece.
