[origin: EP0855696A2] The musical instrument is made from metal and it has a valve mechanism with three or four rotary valves. It also comprises a mouth tube (5) which is connected to a valve (4) which faces away from the mouthpiece, and has a bend which is connected to a valve (2) which faces towards the mouthpiece. A slide (16) is placed between the bend and the bell (7), in order to adjust the tuning of the instrument. A sleeve which can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the mouth tube, may be fastened to the bell, and may connect the mouthpiece and the end of the mouth tube.
