Abstract (en)
The sheath (22) is used for a hearing aid device worn within the auditory meatus, or the part (24) of a hearing aid device fitted in the latter. It is provided as a tubular bag which has a variable dia. to form a close fit with the auditory meatus, to ensure the retention of the hearing aid device and protect it from cerumen etc. Pref. the tubular bag is made of a moisture-tight resilient material, secured at one end to a cap which allows passage of the sound waves, eg. a rubber grid formed integral with the tubular bag. The hearing aid can be individually adjusted for each using dependent on hearing test results.

Schutzhülle für ein im Gehörgang zu tragendes Hörgerät, aus einem schlauchförmigen Mantel und einer gut schalldurchlässigen Kappe, sowie ein Hörgerät mit einer derartigen Schutzhülle. Hörgerät bzw. Teil eines Hörgeräts mit einer Vorrichtung zum Fixieren eines Hörgeräts im Ohr. Die Fixierung erfolgt mittels einer doppelschlauchförmigen Hülle, deren äußere Hülle an den Gehörgang angedrückt wird.
