Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0856338A1] The in-line skate has a support (16) and several freely rotatable rollers (17). The top side of the support has an adaptor (23) for detachably fixing and locking the shoe (2). The adaptor has a dish like part (23'') for holding the shoe in the toe area and a second part (23') for the heel area. The two parts are designed so that the shoe inserted in the adaptor is secured longitudinally and transversely and at the toe area from moving out upwards. The heel area has on both sides a connector (24) through which a hard shell (12) on the shoe upper can be connected to the adaptor.
