Die Erfindung betrifft einen Prallbrecher mit einem Rotor (10) und zwei oder mehreren zu einem verstellbaren Prallwerksystem miteinander verbundenen Prallwerken (1,4), wobei ein erstes Prallwerk (1) durch mindestens einen Antrieb (3) um eine erste Horizontalachse (2) schwenkbar und an dessen zweiter Horizontalachse ein weiteres, durch mindestens einen Antrieb (5) schwenkbares Prallwerk (4) angeordnet ist, wobei die das Prallwerk schwenkbar lagernde Horizontalachse (6) im Bereich des der Horizontalachse (2) abgewandten Endes des ersten Prallwerks (1) angeordnet ist und das zweite Prallwerk einen oder mehrere Hebel (4A) aufweist. <IMAGE>
