[origin: EP0856610A1] The covering for a gully, with a frame or trough, has a friction-reduction and elastic intermediate layer (8), at least between the bonding points or surfaces between the frame and covering (1). The intermediate layer is wholly round the periphery of the bonding surface, or is in interrupted sections. The intermediate layer is a rubber-coated metal plate or ring, and pref. a round ring (3).
