Abstract (en)
The lock is used for a hinged manhole cover (2) which is located in a surrounding frame (1) set in a road. The lock consists of an angled lever (5) which is pivoted to the cover and has one arm (7) which engages with a projection (38) on the frame, while the other arm (8) forms a handle for release of the lock and lifting of the cover. The angle of the lever has a pivot which receives a clip-on plastic component (12) which is inserted into and retained by a recess in the cover. The plastic component is basically U-shaped, with its inner surface receiving the pivot and one of its branches (14) clipping into the recess (17).

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de verrouillage d'un tampon à montage articulé sur un cadre. Ce dispositif comprend un verrou (5) associé par l'intermédiaire d'une pièce de liaison (12) à un tampon (2) monté articulé sur un cadre (1), le verrou (5) présentant la forme d'un levier coudé (6) monté pivotant sur le tampon (2) et dont l'un (7) des bras coopère avec un organe (38) du cadre (1) pour effectuer le verrouillage, tandis que l'autre bras (8) forme poignée de manoeuvre du verrou (5) et de soulèvement du tampon (2) en position déverrouillée de celui-ci. Ce dispositif s'applique notamment au verrouillage et au déverrouillage d'un tampon monté articulé sur un cadre noyé dans une chaussée pour réaliser un regard donnant accès à une tranchée. <IMAGE>
