Abstract (en)
The installer comprises a base support (1) on rollers (7) and a central telescopic mast of two or more parts (10,11,12). The mast is elongated by a manual hoist (13) and a cable. There is an inclined tile support (4) at the top of the mast. A safety brake (31,32) between two consecutive mast parts (10,11 and 11,12) has a jaw pivoted about a horizontal spindle connected to the top of the mast's exterior (10,11) and located on the side of this part. The jaw has an active surface located higher than its pivoting spindle which friction engages a side face of the mast's interior. The jaw carries an activating lever arm (37,38), and a spring (35,36) returns the jaw to its position in which its active surface engages with the side face of the interior. The apparatus includes simple safety brakes which intervene if the mechanical hoist fails and ensure locking in the event of a very heavy load.

L'appareil comprend un pied-support (1), un mât central télescopique (2) en deux ou plusieurs éléments (10, 11, 12), dont l'allongement est obtenu au moyen d'un treuil manuel (13), et un support de plaques (4) inclinable, monté au sommet du mât (2). Entre deux éléments de mât consécutifs (10, 11, et 11, 12) est monté au moins un frein de sécurité (31, 32). Chaque frein (31, 32) comprend une mâchoire montée pivotante autour d'un axe horizontal lié au sommet de l'élément de mât extérieur (10, 11) et situé sur le côté de cet élément. La mâchoire porte un bras de levier (37, 38) servant de manette d'actionnement. Des ressorts (35, 36) rappellent cette mâchoire vers sa position active, en contact de frottement avec l'élément de mât intérieur (11, 12). <IMAGE>
