[origin: EP0856644A1] The device has a ventilation line connected to the engine intake system, with it incorporates an oil separator, and a siphon with a feed pipe and an oil level indicator. The trough (3) in the siphon (10) is formed by a countersunk bore for a cylinder-head screw (4). Several feed pipes (11) are distributed over the length (1) of the oil separator (9), and the pipes are cast on the separator or pressed into it. The oil separator has a lower part (15), formed integrally with the cylinder-head cover (6), and a cover section (16). The cover has guide ribs (19) for the separated oil.
