Abstract (en)
The cover for the end of a conductor (3) which is at medium or high tension voltage has a rigid hollow body (1) forming a cap which is intended to form a casing around the end of the conductor to be protected. This cap has an annular edge surrounding the outside of the conductor at a distance. The space between this annular edge and the outside surface of the conductor is closed by a membrane (4) which is elastically deformable. The membrane has a curvature when seen in the longitudinal axial plane of the conductor. The deformation of the membrane is limited by an element (5) fixed on the internal annular edge of the cap. The element is arranged to ensure that the radius of curvature of the membrane is always greater than a certain fixed value.

Le capot pare effluves pour protéger un conducteur (3) sous tension, comprend un corps rigide creux (1) formant une sorte de calotte destinée à venir coiffer une extrémité du conducteur à protéger. Ce corps creux a un bord annulaire entourant à distance la surface extérieure du conducteur. L'espace entre ce bord annulaire et la surface extérieure du conducteur est fermé par une membrane (4) déformable élastiquement présentant une certaine courbure dans un plan axial longitudinal du conducteur. La déformation de cette membrane est limitée par une contre pièce (5) fixée sur la bord annulaire du corps rigide creux. Cette contre pièce est conformée pour garantir que le rayon de courbure de la membrane entre le bord annulaire du corps rigide creux et la surface extérieure du conducteur dans ledit plan axial longitudinal du conducteur est toujours supérieur à une certaine valeur (r). <IMAGE>
