[origin: DE19539350A1] The invention concerns a sweeper vehicle (10) comprising: a chassis (11); driven rear wheels (12) and steering front wheels (13); a motor (14) which is disposed substantially above the rear wheels (12) and drives the latter; a seat (16) adjacent the motor (14); a sweeper roller (17) which is disposed on the underside of the chassis (11), between the front and rear wheels, transversely to the direction of travel; and a dirt-collection device. The object of the invention is to design the sweeper vehicle such that the sweeping operation and maintenance generate only a small amount of dust. To this end, the dirt-collection device comprises a coarse dirt collection container (18), disposed between the front and rear wheels, adjacent the sweeper roller (17), and a fine dirt collection container (25) which is connected to the coarse dirt collection container via a suction line (26, 27) and from which a suction pipe (28) leads to a suction unit (29).
