[origin: DE19634900A1] The invention relates to a feeding pump, particularly for fuel feeding from the petrol tank. The pump room contains a pump case defined by two radially extending spaced sidewalls (12), by a peripheral wall peripherally connected to both sidewalls (12), by a groove-like side channel (20) disposed inside at least one of the sidewalls (12) and opening out into the pump room, which channel concentrically extends to the pump axle (22) and has an interrupting crossmember between its end (202) and its beginning (201) with respect to flow direction, and by a built-in overshot wheel. In order to reduce pressure amplitudes that are locally very high at the interrupting crossmember due to bucket frequency oscillation, a curved damping groove (36) opening out into the pump room is provided close to the end of said side channel (202) and extends virtually over the width thereof.
