Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0857917A1] the method involves detecting the occurrence and the type of a fault by a microprocessor (4) which stores data about the nature of the fault in a memory (8). The signal is displayed on a visual display (5) periodically or on request. Each signal is a pulse sequence associated with the type of each fault and is converted into a sequence of light pulses on the visual display. Each fault condition is associated with a certain number of light pulses, pref. of equal length.
