Abstract (en)
Razor heads comprising a generally rigid blade support for supporting a plurality of flexible blade elements so that the blade elements are independently flexible in response to shaving forces. The blade elements may include a blade (40) and a flexible member (50) having a generally rectangular sine wave configuration. The blade support preferably includes a guard (64) and a cap (62). Desirably, the blade elements have a varying stiffness along their length, and preferably a center portion thereof has a greater stiffness than the ends thereof so as to provide a flatter curve along the length of the blade in response to forces encountered during shaving. <IMAGE>
