Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0858966A1] The travellator is made of interlinked supports with the longitudinal distances between the supports capable of alteration. In the direction of travel of the moving pavement are overlapping and relatively movable tread elements in the form of tread-plates. At the end of the moving pavement the tread plates and supports are deflected. The interlinked supports consists of several longitudinally parallel link chains joined transversely by the tread-plates at distances apart. Guide rollers (8) run along side guides (7).
