Abstract (en)
A cost effective mirror with a motif, or with advertising logo, has the motif on a transparent foil (6) and applied to the mirror (4) by a self adhesive film (8) on the back of the foil. The foil is covered by a transparent glass plate (12) and the assembly is sealed at the edges by adhesive tape and/or by fitting into a frame. Several foils can be assembled into a picture/motif either in the same plane or by successive layers, spaced by transparent glass plates, to generate special effects. The transparent cover layer can also be applied as a water soluble solution to fill the spaces around the motif. This layer is applied/smoothed by rollers.

Eine Bilddarstellungseinrichtung, weist mehrere Schichten auf, wobei eine Schicht von einem Spiegel gebildet wird, auf dessen Spiegelseite mindestens ein Schichtaufbau angeordnet ist, der eine ein Bildmotiv tragende Schicht und eine transparenten Schicht aufweist, wobei zumindest die transparente Schicht im wesentlichen dieselbe flächige Ausdehnung aufweist wie der Spiegel und der Spiegel und der Schichtaufbau mit einem oder mehreren an der Außenseite der aus Spiegel und Schichtaufbau gebildeten Anordnung befestigten Klebeband/Klebebändern verbunden ist.
