Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9706735A1] The invention concerns a pressure plaster intended for sealing holes in human or animal blood vessels which have been opened during a therapeutic or diagnostic intervention. The plaster has a chamber which can be placed under pressure and is designed to be attached to the body over the opening in the blood vessel, the side of the chamber facing the body being elastic in nature. The plaster is characterized in that the pressure chamber (10) is formed from a rigid substrate film (20), an elastic film (30) covering a recess (25) in the rigid substrate film (20) and a rigid cover film (40) covering the elastic film (30) over the aperture, the rigid cover film (40) being joined to the rigid substrate film (20) to resist an overpressure of at least 300 mbar.
