[origin: EP0860276A1] A device for executing quality management by printing with a roller printing press (1) with at least one adjustable measuring head (5) over the width of the path (2) for the stuff being printed, is described. The head(s) contain(s) a spectrometer and a lighting source. It/They can be activated by means of an encoder (9) assigned to the printing press. The press also has a control device (12,13) by means of which the signals of each measuring head can be logged continuously. Several adjustable measuring heads are provided over the width of the path which are mounted preferably on cross-bars located transversely to the running direction of the path.
