Individual packages are combined to form packs of different sizes, which are then combined to form shipping units. Each individual package is a modular base unit. The base area of a base unit and of a complementary package correspond to an integral part of the base surface of a standard palette, pref. a quarter palette. Printed labels on the elements of a complementary package present complete min. information only when seen together. The base areas of 12 modular base units form the base area of one shipping unit, and the base area of at least one whole shipping unit corresponds to the base area of one standard quarter palette.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verpackungssystem, bei dem Einzelpackungen zu unterschiedlich großen Sammelpackungen kombinierbar sind, von denen mindestens ein Ganzes eine Versandeinheit bildet. Dabei ist die Einzelpackung als modulfähige Basiseinheit ausgebildet. Die Grundfläche einer Basiseinheit und die eines Komplementärpacks entspricht jeweils einem ganzzahligen Teil der Grundfläche einer Standard-Palette, vorzugsweise einer Viertel-Standard-Palette. Die Aufdrucke auf den Elementen eines Komplementärpacks ergeben nur insgesamt eine vollständige Mindestinformation. Alternativ ergänzen sich einmal die Aufdrucke der Basiseinheiten mindestens auf einer Seite zu einer vollständigen Mindestinformation für jedes Komplementärpack. Zum anderen ergänzen sich die Aufdrucke der Basiseinheiten und eines Komplementärelements zu einer vollständigen Mindestinformation pro Komplementärpack. <IMAGE>
